As a port of communities and an economic engine in the region, the Port of San Diego is hosting its annual three-part workshop series, How to Do Business with the Port. The workshops are aimed at helping local businesses navigate through the process of becoming a vendor for government agencies like the Port, how to write proposals, and meeting Port project managers. Each workshop focuses on a different part of the process.
The first two workshops are open to in-person and virtual attendees. The third and final workshop is in person only. Individuals can attend or participate in one, two or all three workshops. Light refreshments will be provided for in-person attendees.

Workshop #1: Business Opportunity Portal Basics - Wednesday, October 16, 3-5 p.m.
This session includes an overview of the Port of San Diego, information about how to become a registered vendor, and how to navigate the Port’s business opportunity portal in PlanetBids. Attend in person or virtually.

Workshop #2: How to Complete a Bid and Request for Proposal Submission - Monday, November 18, 3-5 p.m.
This session provides information about how to complete a bid or submission in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) and key things to include. Attend in person or virtually. -
Workshop #3: Meet the Project Managers - Wednesday, December 18, 3-5 p.m
This in-person only session provides an opportunity to meet with Port project managers and waterfront businesses looking for professional services.
