How to be a PUBLIC Volunteer

To volunteer for Operation Clean Sweep, you MUST sign, complete, and return a waiver. Print the below waiver and return the completed copy to one of the above check-in sites. In exchange for your waiver, you will receive an Operation Clean Sweep T-shirt, cleaning supplies such as trash bags and gloves, and an 8-hour community service certificate. The cleanup portion of Operation Clean Sweep is 8am -10am.

After Party at Shelter Island Shoreline Park

All volunteers welcome to celebrate their cleanup efforts with an afterparty at Shelter Island Shoreline Park North. Join us for entertainment with DJ Kanoya, FREE plate lunches from Leilani's Food Truck, a raffle (free tickets and tickets available for purchase), booths, and our infamous, "Most Unique Trash Contest". First, Second, and Third Place Winners will receive a grand prize (such as hotel stays, bay cruises, restaurant gift cards, etc.).
