Keeping San Diego Bay Clean & Healthy

From one dedicated to boater to another, Captain Colin knows that it’s important to own your ship and know the basics of sailing, like how to keep your sewage on your boat and not in the bay or where to find the closest sanitary station and fuel dock.

Clean Boating Tips with Captain Colin

Let’s make sure we’re all doing our best to protect our natural marine wildlife and spread the word, not the... you know what! Here are a couple clean boating tips with Captain Colin.

Tip 1: Hold It

Store vessel sewage in holding tanks on board until you’re able to get to a dedicated pumpout station.

Tip 2: Tighten It
