A Baseball-Inspired Urban Park
Lane Field Park and Plaza is the Port of San Diego's 22nd public park. This urban park has a strong relationship to the dynamic San Diego Bay and nearby public spaces. Inspired by San Diego's love for baseball, the park is designed for visitors to discover hints of this site's history as the former home of the San Diego Padres. Explore the park to find the home plate, pitcher's mound and surrounding bases. Note: Dogs allowed, but must be leashed.
